SeaFair Haven 2012 - Provisional Plan 23rd - 30th June

Saturday 23rd June 

REGISTRATION ON ARRIVAL

There will be an opportunity to register on arrival. At the Lawrenny Arms at Lawrenny and at Milford Marina. You will get a pack with the Captain's Handbook givin al vital information from itinerary to telephone numbers, radio channels, chartlets etc. Also an identifying  sticker for the boat.

Join in Tenby Race from PHYC 

Lawrenny 

This is the venue for mainly sail and oar but there is room for a limited number of keel boats

• 2-5 pm Strawberry Tea in the village.

 Excursions to Pembroke Pool during the week. Timetables are in the Captain’s handbook.

Venues

Milford Docks for the larger Boats. 50 extra moorings establishes @£5 per night with water taxi provision

Lawrenny for Sail and oar. With entertainment most nights. But there is a pub and Sports Club. A camp site for 100 tents. Well received last time for those that stayed there.  Look at the website Lawrenny Village.org for details

Sunday 24^th

Church service taken by the Mission  Seamen John Littleton (chairman) held on Earl of Pembroke at 7.00 pm in Milford Docks. Bus to be laid on for those who would like to attend.

8-9 am Return Race from Tenby, to be joined by any visiting boats to Seafair

Tuesday 26^th

Welcome Event at Lawrenny field 10am to 16.00

Return to Host port

Evening hospitality welcome and registration  at Host Port

Wednesday 27th

Pembroke Pool  visit also free day to explore the Haven and islands etc for the larger boats. Lunch at The Point house Angle. Exploration of the upper reaches for sail and oar

Party at Milford Docks for all. Water taxis by Dale Sailing 40 seater boat  from Lawrenny possibly return coaches at midnight to Lawrenny if no boat available. Beer festival throughout the week in Milford Docks

Thursday 28th

HW 14.30  5.7  LW20.44  2.0

Larger boats (ie Flotillas 1 2 and 3)Race from Milford to Neyland Yacht club

Sail and Oar Race from Lawrenny to Neyland Yacht club

Lunch at the Club, with attendant events in the evening including a male voice choir, with concessionary rate mooring fee of £5 at Neyland Marina.

Friday 29th

 Fleet 1,2,3 Race back to Milford. Lunch at Angle or Dale Possible trip around to Skoma

Sail and oar Race to Angle Lunch at Angle. Return in the evening all fleets to a party at Lawrenny in the evening.

Saturday 30th

Parade of Sail reciprocal Fleets 1,2 and3 and sail and oar from Neyland to Milford and return.
